I have recently had my bigger pearl (8482 on the pearl page made into an eye catching pendant. This "tooth" is larger and of a better quality than the two I did for my sons (below) and we all agree it's the best one out of the lot. It really has come out well with some professional attention. Valued at over $5800 AUD for the pearl alone we though we might try it at auction in the UK, where my son is located. If you want to check it out go to www.ebay.co.uk from the 10th September |
If you have any questions at all or would just like to know more about the piece, please feel free to contact me through the contact tab above.

| I have recently had two of my smaller NZ Abalone "horn" shaped pearls made into special pieces which my sons now wear. Both are set in Silver and look great when worn. Both of my sons are always getting asked about where they came from as they are so unique. Also as we are in NZ which has very close ties to nature and our environment, the pendants are very fitting heirlooms which are worn with pride. To see a bigger picture click on the image below |

| We were lucky enough to catch the attention of Doctor Graeme Brown who wrote a paper on the small nacreous pearls that we found forming inside the Abalone shells. The articale includes photos and x-rays of these formations and makes for some interesting reading.
